The downside to having one of the year’s best lineups? There’s inevitably going to be quite a few nasty conflicts. Such is the case for Lollapalooza, which today revealed the schedule for this year’s festival.
On Friday, do you see Nine Inch Nails or The Killers? Band of Horses or Crystal Castles? Jessie Ware or IO Echo? Smith Westerns or Ghost B.C? Here’s a real toughie: Queens of the Stone Age, New Order, Disclosure, and Chance the Rapper all playing overlapping sets.
On Saturday, you’ll have to choose between Mumford and Sons, The Postal Services, and Azealia Banks; Kendrick Lamar and Death Grips; The National and Foals; Local Natives and Matt & Kim; and Reignwolf and St. Lucia.
Sunday’s no easier: The Cure overlap with Cat Power and Phoenix; Vampire Weekend plays opposite Beach House and Major Lazer; Grizzly Bear conflicts with Skrillex and Boys Noize’s Dog Blood and DIIV; Angel Haze goes against Wild Nothing; and Palma Violets plays the same time as The Orwells.
