Billy Currington will release a new album titled We Are Tonight on Sept. 17 on Mercury Records. It’s his irst album of new material since 2010’s Enjoy Yourself. The project’s
lead single is “Hey Girl.” Meanwhile, Currington covers Jack Johnson’s “Banana Pancakes,” and Willie Nelson sings on the song “Hard to Be a Hippie.”
Currington worked with producers Carson Chamberlain, Dann Huff and Shy Carter on the album. “This album is the first time that I have ever worked with three different producers,” he said. “It wasn’t planned but just kind of happened that way. It was a great experience to be able to bring a different sound to this album, and I hope the fans love it as
