Set for July 18-21 at Horning’s Hideout, near North Plains, Ore., the Northwest String Summit is the destination festival of choice for thousands of music fans who can think of nothing finer than spending a summer weekend immersed in music while camping in the hills
Or, as some might argue, immersed in “real” music. The Northwest String Summit tends to lean bluegrass and you’d be hard pressed to find massive special effects, lasers, DJs or mirror balls.
