You could be forgiven for confusing this summer’s Boots and Hearts Music Festival in Bowmanville with a reality TV star showcase.
Organizers announced this week that Willie and Jase Robertson, two stars of the wildly popular A&E show Duck Dynasty, will perform.
The lineup also includes Cassadee Pope, who won Season 3 of NBC’s The Voice, in her first Canadian show.
And Tate Stevens, winner of last year’s X Factor, is also on the bill.
“We’re huge fans of The Voice and Duck Dynasty, so to have Willie and Jase coming to party with us this summer, and to have Cassadee Pope’s first ever Canadian show is something we couldn’t be more fired up about,” said Shannon McNevan, founder of Republic Live, which organizes the festival.
