Scotty McCreery Extends Fall Tour Dates

Scotty McCreery has added more dates to his Weekend Roadtrip tour.

Having performed more than 150 concerts and selling out shows in many markets, the American Idol winner has opted to tour mainly on weekends as he begins his sophomore year at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

“To have a sellout as a new artist is really amazing for me,” he said. “To have people want to come out and see our show means a lot. When you hear it is a sellout, it hypes you up even more. We couldn’t be happier with the way it is going. It’s 90 high-energy minutes of new material and country classics combined with video, lights and fan interaction.”

McCreery co-wrote his current single, “See You Tonight,” and is currently recording a new album with producer with Frank Rogers.
