Roger Waters hasn’t released an album of new rock material in over two decades, but that’s about to change.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Waters revealed he’s recording a new album, not long after wrapping up his The Wall tour last September, telling the magazine he had “finished a demo of it,” and that the current version is “55 minutes long.”
Already, the work is sounding like a concept album of sorts. According to Waters, the unfinished product is “couched as a radio play,” about “an old man and a young child trying to figure out why they’re killing the children.” Read more on the release here.
