George Strait will prove once and for all why he is the King of Country. The icon is set to play his final show ever with a ridiculously star-studded lineup of artists at his side, ensuring the country legend will ride away from his touring days in style.
Strait will play his final concert on June 7, 2014 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The show will conclude his 2014 Cowboy Rides Away Tour. A crowd of 100,000 people will not only enjoy the legendary singer’s tunes, but also those of guest artists, who will perform three songs each.
Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Ronnie Dunn, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Lee Ann Womack have signed on for Strait’s big farewell.
Additionally, the opening act for Strait’s final concert will be the Kings of Texas Swing and six-time Grammy Award-winning group Asleep at the Wheel. Strait is pulling out all the stops for his last stop, and fans will need to act fast to snatch up a seat.
