For the first time since the summer of 2012, prog-metal rockers Tool will return to the tour trail in support of an impending new studio set.
The Los Angeles quartet will hit five major U.S. markets in early March, beginning March 4 in Spokane, WA, and concluding with a two-night stand March 11-12 in San Francisco, CA. Two Mexico shows follow the following week.
Tool is set to release a new studio album sometime in early 2014, though no exact date has been announced. The effort will mark the band’s first new material since their Grammy-winning fourth studio set, “10,000 Days,” which surfaced in 2006. See tour dates and read more here.
