The Grateful Dead are rumored to be adding a couple more dates to their schedule this summer. The concerts could take place the weekend before the big “Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead” concerts at Soldier Field in Chicago.
Sources say the surviving members of the Grateful Dead will perform at Levi’s Stadium (14 miles from where the band formed in 1965) the weekend of June 27-28. The ticket demand has been so great (500,000 tried to get tickets to Chicago) that they would like to perform a sort of homecoming show before the end.
