Grateful Dead is Coming to Your TV this Summer

The Fare Thee Well shows, distributed by MultiVision Media to both satellite and cable providers, will now be available virtually on any screen. The event will be hosted by CNBC reporter Steve Liesman, with special guest host NBA great and Deadhead Bill Walton. The intermission will feature taped interviews with special guests, live fan interviews and aerial shots from Soldier Field, along with a short documentary on the Grateful Dead directed by Justin Kreutzmann. Following the shows, the special will be available through video-on-demand for 45 days.

Live Alliance will offer worldwide pay-per-view of the Grateful Dead’s Fare Thee Well concerts from Chicago’s Soldier Field (July 3-5) and Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., (June 27-28) via a high-definition online stream. A May 1-15 pre-sale for the pay-per-view will offer all five nights for $79.95.
