KISS are hitting the road in 2016 and kicking it all off on July 7th in Boise, ID.

KISS is a hard rock band formed in New York City in January 1973 by Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons. Well known for its members’ face paint and stage outfits, the group rose to prominence in the mid-to-late 1970s with their elaborate live performances–which featured fire breathing, blood-spitting, smoking guitars, shooting rockets, levitating drum kits, and pyrotechnics.

The tour will feature different opening acts, with American Idol winner Caleb Johnson opening for the July 7 – August 10 shows and The Dead Daisies setting the table for the August 10 – Sept. 10 performances.

KISS lineup will feature founding members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley with Eric Singer on drums and Tommy Thayer on lead guitar.
