The Oak Ridge Boys Announce “Christmas Celebration”

The Oak Ridge Boys are hitting the road with their “Christmas Celebration” and kicking it all off on November 15th in Branson, MO.

The Country Music Hall of Fame members are planning a show packed with contemporary hits, religious songs, holiday classics and more, including selections from the group’s six top-selling Christmas CDs.

The Oak Ridge Boys are a country and gospel vocal quartet. The group was founded in the 1940s as the Oak Ridge Quartet. They became popular in southern gospel during the 1950s. Their name was officially changed to the Oak Ridge Boys in the early 1960s, and they remained a gospel group until the mid-1970s, when they changed their image and concentrated on country music. The Oak Ridge Boys consist of Richard Sterban, Duane Allen, William Lee Golden and Joe Bonsall.
