Drive-By Truckers Release More ‘American Band’ Dates

Drive-By Truckers are hitting the road in North America in 2016 and kicking it all off on August 20th in Morrison, CO.

The band is out in support of their American Band album, due in September. American Band is due out Sept. 30. An announcement from Drive-By Truckers’ PR rep notes that the LP covers topics such as “race, income inequality, the NRA, deregulation, police brutality, Islamophobia, and the plague of suicides and opioid abuse.”

Drive-By Truckers are an alternative country/Southern rock band based in Athens, Georgia. The band currently consists of Mike Cooley (lead vocals, guitar, banjo), Patterson Hood (lead vocals, guitar), Brad Morgan (drums), Jay Gonzalez (keys/guitar/accordion/backing vocals) and Matt Patton (bass guitar).
