Drive-By Truckers are hitting the road in North America in 2017 and kicking it all off on January 13th in Denver, CO.
The band is out in support of their American Band album.
An announcement from Drive-By Truckers’ PR rep notes that the LP covers topics such as “race, income inequality, the NRA, deregulation, police brutality, Islamophobia, and the plague of suicides and opioid abuse.”
Drive-By Truckers are an alternative country/Southern rock band based in Athens, Georgia. The band currently consists of Mike Cooley (lead vocals, guitar, banjo), Patterson Hood (lead vocals, guitar), Brad Morgan (drums), Jay Gonzalez (keys/guitar/accordion/backing vocals) and Matt Patton (bass guitar).
