Jerry Seinfeld has announced two weekend residence dates at the The Colosseum At Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV. The dates are June 17-18 and Sept. 8-9.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Jerry Seinfeld starting performing stand-up comedy in 1976 after graduating from college. Early appearances at Catch a Rising Star and on a Rodney Dangerfield special lead to regular appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and Late Night with David Letterman.
Starting in 1988, Seinfeld and friend Larry David began running Seinfeld, and NBC sitcom based loosely on Seinfeld’s own life as a working comedian in New York City. It went on to run for 9 seasons, becoming the most critically acclaimed and successful sitcom in history, launching Seinfeld and co-stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards to superstardom.
After the end of Seinfeld, Seinfeld returned to stand-up comedy, which apart from some TV guest work and film appearances has been his professional focus ever since.
