Pixies Release 2017 North American Tour Dates

Pixies are hitting the road in North America in 2017 and kicking it all off on April 21st in Pomona, CA at Fox Theater Pomona.

Public Access T.V. on the bill from April 21 to May 7, and Cymbals Eat Guitars taking the rest of the run from May 9 -26.

Formed in 1986 in Boston, MA, the Pixies are an American alternative rock band formed in 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts. Until 2013, the band comprised Black Francis, Joey Santiago, Kim Shattuck, Paz Lenchantin, and David Lovering. The band took a ten-year break from 1993 to 2004 but are now back together and selling concert tickets to venues nationwide. Their music is described as psychedelia, noise pop, hard rock, surf pop, and surf rock. The Pixies gained massive success in the United Kingdom and their music influenced bands such as Nirvana, Radiohead, the Strokes, Blur and Weezer.
