Dropkick Murphys and Rancid Announce 2017 “From Boston To Berkeley” Tour Dates

Dropkick Murphy’s and Rancid are hitting the road together in 2017 and kicking it all off on July 27th in Bangor, ME.

Dropkick Murphy’s will be out in support of their new up-coming album, 11 Short Stories of Pain & Glory.

Dropkick Murphy’s are a Celtic punk band from Boston, MA. The band made a name for themselves locally through constant touring and yearly St. Patrick’s Day week shows. They gained national fame with their single, “I’m Shipping Up to Boston”.

Formed in 1991 in Berkeley, CA, Rancid is a punk rock band formed by punk veterans Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman. Rancid is often credited, along with Green Day and The Offspring, for reviving mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States and bringing punk rock into the mainstream during the mid-1990s. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let’s Go, featuring the single “Salvation”. Over their 26-year career, Rancid remained signed to an independent record label. Their current lineup consists of Armstrong on guitar and vocals, Freeman on bass and vocals, Lars Frederiksen on guitar and vocals, and Branden Steineckert on drums. Rancid has sold over four million records worldwide, making it one of the most successful independent punk rock groups of all time.

The Bouncing Souls and Jake Burns are coming along as support.
