George Benson and Kenny G are hitting the road in 2017 and kicking it all off on May 13th in Durant, OK.
George Benson and Kenny G are co-headlining a special U.S. tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Benson’s Breezin’ album and 25th anniversary of Kenny’s Breathless LP.
From Seattle, WA, Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, better known by his stage name Kenny G, is an international famous saxophonist. His 1986 album, Duotones, brought him commercial success and he began selling out venues from coast to coast. Kenny G is the biggest-selling instrumental musician of the modern era and one of the best-selling artists of all time. He has sold more than 75 million records worldwide.
Straight out of Pittsburgh, PA, George Benson is a musician, guitarist and singer-songwriter who began his professional career at 21 as a jazz guitarist. Benson first came to prominence in the 1960s, playing soul jazz with Jack McDuff and others. He then launched a successful solo career, alternating between jazz, pop, R&B singing, and scat singing. Benson hit international fame with his album, Breezin’, which was certified triple-platinum, hitting no. 1 on the Billboard album chart in 1976.
