Founded in 2002, OneRepublic is a pop band from Colorado Springs, CO formed by Ryan Tedder and guitarist Zach Filkins. It currently consists of guitarist Drew Brown, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, and drummer Eddie Fisher. They got their start on MySpace by posting songs and videos. After being dropped by their record label they released their single “Apologize” on MySpace and it flew up to the #1 spot.
In 2007, OneRepublic released their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud. Its lead single, “Apologize” became a huge international success, reaching number one in sixteen countries and earning them a Grammy Award nomination. In 2009 they released their second album Waking Up and contained the hit singles All the Right Moves”, “Secrets”, “Marchin On”, and “Good Life”. OneRepublic became an international success and started selling out venues all over the country.
