Founded in 1980, the Mavs are an NBA team based in Dallas, TX. The Dallas Mavericks play in the league’s Western Conference Southwest Division against tough competition like San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies, and New Orleans Pelicans. The team plays its home games at the American Airlines Center which seats around 19,200 screaming fans each night. Since the birth of the franchise the Mavericks have won three division titles (1987, 2007, 2010), two conference championships (2006, 2011), and one NBA Championship (2011).
