The Jets finished the 2016-17 NHL season with a 40-35-7 record and made the NHL playoffs. The Jets failed to make the NHL Playoffs, 7 points short of the NHL Wild Card. The Jets are looking to rebound in the 2017-18 NHL season and reach the NHL Playoffs once again.
Founded in 1999, the Winnipeg Jets are a very competitive NHL team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The compete in the Central Division of the NHL Western Conference against teams like the Chicago Blackhawks, Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, and St. Louis Blues. The Jets call the MTS Centre home and pack over 15,000 hockey fans in on a given night.
The Jets started off as the Atlanta Thrashers however moved to Winnipeg in the 2011 season. To date the Jets have yet to claim a Stanley Cup Championship but are a competitive NHL playoff team every year.
