Born in 1979 in Doylestown, PA, Alecia Beth Moore otherwise known as P!nk has become an international pop star. She started off her career with girl group Choice in 1995, however, they only lasted three years and she went on to sign a solo record deal with the same label. She rose to fame and began selling out venues nationwide with the release of her debut album, Can’t Take Me Home. The singles contained the hot singles, “There You Go” and “Most Girls”.
P!nk earned her first Grammy Award with her single “Lady Marmalade” from the Moulin Rouge! Soundtrack. In 2001, her singles “Get the Party Started”, “Don’t Let Me Get Me”, and “Just Like a Pill” rose her to international fame. She was selling out large venues all over the world on a nightly basis.
P!nk has sold over 60 million records worldwide and is known for having “a strong signature voice and a literally acrobatic ability on stage”. Over her career, she has won three Grammy Awards, a Brit Award, a Daytime Emmy Award and six MTV Video Music Awards.
