NY Islanders NHL Tickets vs. Flyers and Canucks – Barclays Center

The New York Islanders missed the NHL Playoffs in 2016-17 NHL season. Last year the Islanders finished 5th (Wild Card) in the Metropolitan Division and carried a 41-29-12 record in the NHL. The Islanders are looking to improve that record in the 2017-18 NHL season.

Formed in 1972, the New York Islanders have won four Stanley Cup Championships over the course of their existence (1979–80, 1980–81, 1981–82, 1982–83). The Islanders call the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY their home and sell out the venue on a regular basis. Eight former members of the Islanders have been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, Al Arbour, Mike Bossy, Clark Gillies, Denis Potvin, Billy Smith, Bill Torrey, Bryan Trottier, and Pat LaFontaine.

The islanders play in the highly competitive Metropolitan division of the Eastern NHL Conference. The play against team like the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Washington Capitals.
