Born in 1968, Rodney Carrington is a comedian from Longview, TX. Carrington didn’t set off in life to be a comedian but went in that direction after discovering his abilities during an open-mic night.
Carrington started gathering a fan base performing his act on morning radio shows like Bob and Tom and John Boy and Billy. Carrington reached national fame with his debut album, Hangin’ with Rodney. He has also done work in other media, including television and film. In 2008, he and Toby Keith co-wrote and co-starred in the film “Beer for My Horses”.
Rodney Carrington continues to sell out larger and larger venues. The comedy of Carrington has been compared to those like Larry the Cable Guy and Jeff Foxworthy.
