The Denver Nuggets are looking to have a brighter NBA season this year. The Nuggets failed to make the NBA playoffs and placed 9th in the NBA Western Conference. After posting a 40-42 record the Nuggets look rebound in the 2017-18 NBA season.
Founded in 1967 as the Denver Rockets (ABA) the franchise became part of the NBA and changed their name to the Denver Nuggets in 1976. They compete in the league’s Western Conference Northwest Division. The Nuggets play their home games in downtown Denver, CO at the beautiful Pepsi Center which can seat a little over 19,000 basketball fans. The franchise has yet to win a NBA Championship but star players like David Thompson and Dikembe Mutombo and coaches like Larry Brown and Alex Hannum have come through the franchise over the years.
