In 1981 in Kentwood, LA Britney Jean Spears was born. From small town girl to one of the most recognizable names in pop music, Spears has come a long way over the years. Spears got here start in the New Mickey Mouse Club with fellow stars Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
Spears realized through her work on the show she was born to be a singer. In 1999, sher released her debut album, …Baby One More Time, when she was just 17 years old. With the release of her singles “Oops!..I Did It Again”, “Lucky”, and “Stronger” she catapulted on the national pop music scene. Soon after she began dating her New Mickey Mouse Club alum and N’Sync member, Justin Timberlake, which put the two in celebrity reports all over the country.
Five years later she launched her first tour entitled ‘The Onyx Hotel Tour’ which sold out venues all over country. Fans could not get their hands-on Britney Spears tickets fast enough. Also that same year she married dancer Kevin Federline and the two went on to have two beautiful children although the marriage did not last.
The year 2008 saw the released of Circus, which lead single “Womanizer” was Spears’ first #1 single since “Baby…One More Time.” In 2013, Spears began her Las Vegas residency titled “Britney: Piece of Me” at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
