Jeff Beck is an English rock guitarist who gained fame with The Yardbirds. He has recorded two hit albums as a solo act. Beck also appears on albums by Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Morrissey, Jon Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder, Cyndi Lauper, and ZZ Top. He was ranked fifth in Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”. Beck has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice: as a member of the Yardbirds (1992) and as a solo artist (2009).
Paul Rodgers is a singer, songwriter and musician, best known for his success in the 1960s and 1970s as vocalist of Free and Bad Company. He soon after became a solo artist. A poll in Rolling Stone magazine ranked him number 55 on its list of the “100 Greatest Singers of All Time”. In 1991, John Mellencamp called Rodgers “the best rock singer ever”. Freddie Mercury, the original Queen vocalist, in particular liked Rodgers and his aggressive style.
Born in San Diego, CA, Ann Dustin Wilson is a musician, best known as the lead singer and songwriter of the band Heart. In 1973, her younger sister Nancy joined Heart, and the band moved to Canada. Their they recorded their first album Dreamboat Annie in 1975 with “Crazy on You” hitting No. 35 on the US charts. Regarded as one of the best female vocalists in rock music history, Wilson was listed as one of the “Top Heavy Metal Vocalists of All Time” by Hit Parader magazine in 2006.
