Stephen Martin is an actor, comedian, writer, producer and musician who came to fame in the 1960s as a writer for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, and later as a frequent guest on The Tonight Show. Martin has become a successful actor, as well as an author, playwright, pianist, and banjo player, eventually earning him an Emmy, Grammy, and American Comedy awards, among other honors. He has increasingly dedicated his career to music since the 2000s, acting less and spending much of his professional life playing banjo, recording, and touring with various bluegrass acts, including Earl Scruggs and Steep Canyon Rangers.
Martin Short is a Canadian-American actor and comedian known for his work on the television programs and Saturday Night Live. He has starred in comedy films, such as Three Amigos, Innerspace, Three Fugitives, Father of the Bride, and Pure Luck. In 1999, he won a Tony Award for his lead performance in a Broadway revival of Little Me.
