Katt Williams got his start in the Cincinnati, OH neighborhood of Avondale. Soon after he took his comedy show nationwide performing in clubs and venues all over the country.
Williams was born an extremely bright and smart academic guy. However, he saw his interest in in school but in the music and comedy world. Through his hard work in the comedy clubs he eventually was noticed and started working for the Black Entertainment Television network, otherwise known as BET.
Over the year Williams has put together an extensive resume including shows such as MTV show Wild n’ Out, NYPD Blue, Girlfriends, The Tracy Morgan Show, and My Wife and Kids, plus he provided the voice for an animated Boondocks character, a pimp named Slickback.
All has not been good for Williams and his popularity and fame though. Since 2006 he has been involved in legal issues ranging from failure to appear, battery, concealed firearm, and numerous other charges.
Through it all, Katt Williams eventually moved up to the big screen and began starring in movies like Friday After Next, Epic Movie, Norbit, and his latest work, Katt Williams: American Hustle – The Movie.
