Stone Temple Pilots are hitting the road in 2018 with Bush and The Cult and kicking it all off on July 18th in Nashville, TN.
The multiple-headliner tour will mix it up each night. That means that STP might close one night only to occupy the middle slot during the next evening’s performance.
Stone Temple Pilots (STP) is a rock band from San Diego, CA, that originally consisted of Scott Weiland, brothers Dean DeLeo and Robert DeLeo, and Eric Kretz. From the band’s formation in 1985, its line-up remained unchanged until the firing of Weiland in February 2013. The band’s debut album, Core, was a commercial success, and they went on to become one of the most commercially successful bands of the 1990s. On December 3, 2015, Weiland was found dead on his tour bus before a performance with his band The Wildabouts. In 2016, the band launched an online audition for a new lead vocalist. On November 14, 2017, the band played their first show with new lead singer Jeff Gutt.
Formed in 1992, Bush are a British rock band formed in London, England and their current lineup includes Gavin Rossdale, Chris Traynor, Corey Britz, and Robin Goodridge. Bush found immediate success with the release of their debut album, Sixteen Stone. They went on to become one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the 1990s, selling over 10 million records in the United States.
