Bon Jovi is hitting the road in 2018. Bon Jovi will be out in support of their album, This House Is Not For Sale.
Along with tunes from the new LP, the set list for the tour will feature fan favorites and classic Bon Jovi anthems like “You Give Love a Bad Name” and “Livin’ on a Prayer.”
Bon Jovi formed in 1983 and is from Sayreville, NJ. Bon Jovi consists of lead singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi, pianist and keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, lead guitarist Phil X, and bassist Hugh McDonald. Longtime guitarist and co-songwriter Richie Sambora departed the band in 2013.
Bon Jovi’s music is a combination of rock, pop, and even some country. The group signed with Mercury Records and released their debut album, Bon Jovi, in 1984. The album sold 3.5 million copies worldwide. Bon Jovi solidified their fame with third album, Slippery When Wet which was released in 1986. The album sold 26 million copies and contained the hit singles “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” and “Livin’ On a Prayer”. The band went on multiple tours in the late 80’s however broke up in 1990 and Jon Bon Jovi set out on his solo career.
In 1992, the band returned with the album Keep the Faith and in 2000 released their hit single “It’s My Life” which introduced the band to a younger audience.
The band has sold more than 130 million records worldwide and performed more than 2,700 concerts in over 50 countries for more than 34 million fans.
