Poison, Cheap Trick, and Pop Evil are hitting the road together in 2018. Poison was formed in 1983, in Mechanicsburg, PA by members Bret Michaels, guitarist Matt Smith, bassist Bobby Dall and drummer Rikki Rockett. Poison was one the greatest “hair bands” of the 80’s and 90’s. They have sold over 50 million records worldwide. Perhaps their greatest single to date is “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” but their most successful album was Open Up and Say…Ahh! Eventually the band ran its course and the group broke up to pursue solo opportunities. The group’s founder, Bret Michaels, even tried his hand in the country music genre as well as reality TV. In the 2000’s the band reunited and began playing venues across the world. Fans lined up to buy tickets to see the popular pop hard rock band play again.
Founded in 1973 in Rockford, IL, Cheap Trick is a rock band currently consists of Robin Zander (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), Tom Petersson (bass) and Daxx Nielsen (drums). Some of their biggest hits include “Surrender”, “I Want You to Want Me”, “Dream Police” and “The Flame”. In April 2016, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Pop Evil will be handling opening duties.
