Deftones and Rise Against Together in 2017

Deftones and Rise Against are hitting the road together in 2017 and kicking it all off on June 9th in Chicago, IL at the Huntington Bank Pavilion.

Deftones are out in support of their upcoming album, Gore.

Founded in 1988 by Chino Moreno, Stephen Carpenter, Abe Cunningham and Dominic Garcia the Deftones and Rise Against are an alternative metal band out of Sacramento, CA. The lineup through the years had changed several times however after 1993 the lineup was secure and they released their debut album, Adrenaline.

The group toured all over the US in small venues and often on a bill that included several bands, gaining along the way their own dedicated fan base. In 2000 they released White Pony which contained the singles “Change (In the House of Flies)” and “Elite” and pushed the band to international fame. “Elite” would go on to win a Grammy Award for “Best Metal Performance and the album would go on to be certified platinum.

Rise Against is a Chicago, IL punk rock band that spent their early career signed with an independent label before signing with Geffen Records in 2003. Their album Appeal to Reason gained them national success.
