Alabama Announces 2018 ‘The Hits’ Tour with Concert Tickets, Venues, and Dates

Alabama kick off their 2018 tour on March 23rd in Grand Prairie, TX.

Alabama’s the Hits Tour will showcase the group’s 43 No. 1 singles. Their biggest hits include “Mountain Music,” “Tennessee River,” “Feels So Right,” “The Closer You Get,” “There’s No Way” and many more.

Formed in Fort Payne, Alabama is a country, Southern rock and bluegrass band founded by Randy Owen and his cousin Teddy Gentry. They were soon joined by their other cousin, Jeff Cook. First operating under the name Wildcountry, they changed their name to Alabama in 1977 and following the chart success of two singles. Alabama’s rose to fame in the 1980s, where the band had over 27 number one hits, seven multi-platinum albums and received numerous awards. Alabama’s hottest singles are “Tennessee River”, “Love in the First Degree”, “Mountain Music”, “Dixieland Delight”, “If You’re Gonna Play in Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band)” and “Song of the South”. The band has over 30 number one country records on the Billboard charts to their credit and have sold over 75 million records.
