Steely Dan is performing 9 shows in New York City at the Beacon Theatre in October.
Steely Dan’s return to the Beacon Theatre takes place Oct. 17-18,20-21, 24, 26-27 &29-30. Plans include devoting “themed” nights to each of the band’s classic albums like Countdown To Ecstasy, Aja and Can’t Buy A Thrill along with deep dives into Steely Dan’s catalog. There will also be “By Popular Demand” and “Greatest Hits Nights.”
Steely Dan is an American jazz rock band whose music also blends elements of funk, R&B, and pop Founded by core members Walter Becker and Donald Fagen in 1972, the band enjoyed great critical and commercial success in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
